PioGiro 2025 Puntarenas- Costa Rica

Few places offer a setting as breathtaking as Santa Teresa, Manzanillo, and the lush forests of Costa Rica for a mountain bike race. As a photographer, capturing this event was an incredible experience—where the raw energy of the athletes met the untamed beauty of nature.

The race unfolded along a route that combined pristine beaches, rugged coastal trails, and dense tropical forests, creating a paradise for competitors and spectators alike. Riders pushed through golden sand with the ocean at their side, then disappeared into the jungle, where sunlight filtered through towering trees, casting dramatic shadows on the winding dirt paths. The contrast between the coastal breeze and the demanding climbs deep in the forest tested endurance, skill, and resilience.

From high-speed descents to intense uphill battles, every moment reflected the spirit of adventure and determination. Through ground and aerial shots, I documented the sweat, the effort, and the sheer thrill of racing in one of the most spectacular landscapes imaginable.
